Why does ICE continue to not give the s/x ed curriculum to parents? #OCSB

In late September, the Institute for Catholic Education (run by OECTA, OAPCE, Liberal party member Roger Lawler et al) promised that much new material would be published in November. Are they waiting for Christmas eve? February? later? They were able to keep the Nov 20 date to present the material to Family Life educators from across the province. Yet, nothing online over a month later. Why?

St Joseph’s Fave Priest Richard Rohr and Anglican wafers . #ocsb

We have written before how #OCSB Mother church is St Joe’s (they love St Basil’s too). We have also written before about St Joe’s and their LGBT activism and other activities (they are basically anglican)

St Joe’s favourite priest is Richard Rohr. He is frequently quoted in St Joe’s “reflections” (pseudo homilies), his page long articles are frequenltly in St Joe’s bulletins, and the St Joe’s mens groups extensively use Rohr DVDs.

Now, we see Rohr at an Anglican/Episcopalian service where he not only receives anglican wafers, he also distributes them. This is 100% against Catholic Church teaching – not that that bothers Richard Rohr in the least.

Exorcists talk about “opening a door” to the demonic, meaning that not everyone who reads their horoscope will tumble to the depths of hell, but that anything that loosens a Christian worldview loosens the soul.

The OCSB like to brag about teaching “critical thinking”. In fact, they are not even close to teaching critical thinking. Critical thinking is not identical to teaching logic and logical fallacies, but it is huge component.

The “apology” from the Board really says nothing. Can you even remember what it says 5 minutes after reading it? Seems to be more sad that they are losing student funding of $13K/yr

The Teacher won’t apologize and the Board won’t move the student. The teachers’ union (OECTA) protects the teacher and he/she goes on as normal with his/her Ontario government raise and signing bonus.

How about some restorative justice OCSB? How about some anti-bullying? How about some teaching of virtues TO the teachers? Or is it all just propaganda and drivel?

 

PS: Meanwhile, Saudi diplomats children are welcome. Do teachers talk about lashings and beheadings?
