Did Trudeau take #Catholic communion at Easter (against Canon 915) #ottnews #cdnpoli #ocsb

We know that the “catholic” school boards are big fans of pro-choice Justin:

  • April 20, 2006 – Ontario Catholic School Trustees Association. $7,500
  • May 17 & 18, 2007 – Niagara Catholic District School Board. $15,000
  • February 5, 2008 – Peterborough Victoria Northhumberland Clarington Catholic School Board. $10,000
  • February 9, 2008 – Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association. $10,000
  • May 21, 2008 – Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School. $10,000
  • November 6, 2009 – Waterloo Catholic District School Board. $15,000
  • May 7, 2010 – Algonquin & Lakeshore Catholic District School Board. $15,000 (Source)

so this topic is relevant to this blog.

We see that Justin had a grand old time as Mass on Fogo Island. A priest from Africa gave him a hearty welcome. The article would have probably mentioned is Justin did NOT receive Eucharist, so it is fair to assume that he probably did.

On May 16th, Ottawa’s Archbishop published a statement in response to Trudeau’s edict entitled, “Being in Communion with the Catholic Church on Moral Issues”.  In a stinging rebuke of Justin Trudeau, the letter states unequivocally, “One may not dissent from these core teachings on life issues and be considered a Catholic in good standing.”  Archbishop Prendergast instructed all parish priests in his diocese to make the letter available to parishioners on the upcoming Sunday.

It looks like Justin came to a quiet agreement with his local Bishop in Ottawa to NOT receive communion (and that applies everywhere).

The Skinny On The Street Is That Justin Trudeau Is No Longer Receiving Communion

Catholic parishioner in Montreal:

“…the argument is, I think academic, on the several occasions I have been with him at Mass, he did not receive communion.”

Denial of Holy Communion?
There is a rumour amongst the Ottawa political hack class (of which I was once a part). It seems the rumour is that Cardinal Collins has written to the Prime Minister advising him not to present himself for Holy Communion in the Archdiocese of Toronto. The liberal lapdogs are outraged, – how dare this Churchman tell the Dear Leader he can’t take the cracker!
Perhaps, Justin got confused after the letter from the Toronto  Cardinal and thought he only had to refrain from receiving communion in Toronto and Ottawa and he was fine to receive elsewhere? Perhaps, he thought that nobody would notice on Fogo Island? Perhaps, now that his children are older he can’t explain to them why he is not allowed to receive?
Justin has been pushing abortion overseas, taking away doctors conscience rights about euthanasia, pushing the gay marriage agenda in Canada and overseas. Why does he think he can receive Eucharist?
The media were all aflutter when Harper incorrectly took Catholic communion, but will they ignore Justin’s communion reception? He is just as banned as Harper from receiving communion.
Will they give Justin a pass in this area?
How does Sophie ““The sacred feminine is on the rise” Yogi Gregroire feel about Jesus having only male 12 apostles and instituting a male-only priesthood? Did she also receive communion?

  1. Canon 915 is all about public scandal and the unworthy reception of Holy Communion. If a Bishop thereby advises a public sinner that he/she will be denied Holy Communion but fails to make the public aware of it there is yet a crucial element missing in the transaction. The public needs to be made aware of the judgment in the clearest terms in order that there is redress for the scandal created, particularly when it concerns the highest political office in the nation. Otherwise rumours and uncertainty persist and souls continue to be scandalized.
